-- By Ana Reineberg

My personal biography: Swoosh! Swoosh! That's the sound of my favorite sport, soccer. I'm Ana Reineberg and I'm going to tell you about myself. I'll tell you about my birthplace and dates of life. I will also tell you about my family, friends, pets, middle childhood and favorite hobbies.

I was born on Sept. 28, 1995, in a loud noisy hospital. Babies were crying, especially me. My favorite food when I was little was corn. I loved to play with empty bottles.

When I was around 5 years old I loved to rollerblade and jump rope, played outside a lot. When I was 6 years old I got a new neighbor, Cassie. Soon we turned out to be best friends.

Now I will tell you about my family and pets.

Loud, caring, and responsible, are a few words to describe my family. I have a mom and a dad. Their names are Stephanie and Joe. I also have two brothers, Matt and Andrew. I have one sister, too. Her name is Liz, she is in college. I have four pets, two dogs, Gohan and Bella. I also have two hermit crabs, Radcliffe and Hiccup. My family means so much to me.

Now I will tell you about my middle childhood and hobbies.

I love to play soccer. I also hang out with my friends all the time. They are very important to me. My friends and I have nicknames for each other. Just to name a few of mine are, A Marie, Pistachio, and Rusty.

I play the viola. I've been playing for three years, and I really like it. Some of my hobbies include cooking, playing soccer, and playing the viola. I love to cook and I think it's a great way for me to relieve stress.

In conclusion I told you about my birthplace, early childhood life, and about my middle childhood life. Now you know more about me, Ana Reineberg!

Attention teachers

The Junior Dispatch is inviting teachers of York County public and private school students to submit name suggestions for its mascot -- a dog designed by York Dispatch graphic artist Todd Stouch in 1988.

Submissions for the contest, which is open to kindergartners through ninth-graders, are due by Jan. 31. The student who comes up with the winning name, to be determined by a York Dispatch panel, will be awarded a pizza party for his or her class.

Teachers should e-mail their students' name suggestions to juniordispatch@yorkdispatch.com.
