I think it would be great if I got a horse because they are fun to ride. I will even use some of my own money for it. You can bond with them. I will take care of it all on my own and I would do anything for it! I would train it all by myself and do all of the dirty work on my own. It will give me something to do so I will not need to watch TV. If I had a horse, it would help me be more responsible!

I want to get a rabbit. Rabbits are cute and furry too. I would clear the cage and feed and play with it. I would earn money to buy it. Mom and Dad, if I get a rabbit I would take care of it!

I think cats are cool. I think I should have a cat because I would clean up after him. I can feed and bathe him in my garage. I will pay for all his stuff. I also think it's a good idea because I can learn about cats.

Mom, I think it would be great if I got a hockey table because I would take care of it. I can remove some things in my room. I will help pay for it, and I will let my brother play with it. I will help carry it in, and I will not lose the pieces. So, that is why I want a hockey table!

Imagine me on stage at American Idol. I would do it because you told me I was good. I will try hard to win. It will build my confidence. If I do win, I would get you money because I would be a celebrity. Most of all, I will not give up if I lose. If you allow me to go, I would get experience and be able to sing at all of the family picnics. So that is why I want to go!

I think my mom and my dad should let me get a horse. We have a large field in the back of the house for the horse to stay. Granddad can build a stable. I will even pay for the hay. I will train her to win the Kentucky Derby. She will be a stout, brown horse. I would name her Penny. If she has a foal, she would be named Butterscotch. When my mom tells me to come in to do my homework, I'll come in happily. I will keep my room clean for the rest of my life. I hope I get a horse!

I think it would be good for me to get a hamster. I will play with it everyday. I will buy it and pay for its food, dish, and wheel. I will also clean its water container. I will prove to you that I can take good care of it!

Here are some reasons why I want a bird. I would feed it and wash it. I would keep it in its cage when you tell me to. I'll help you clean its cage. I'll keep it out of your way. I'll help you pay for its toys and supplies to clean its cage. We could play with it and watch it fly. It would be so much fun if we got a bird!

I think the class should have a class pet because it would teach us responsibility. We would have Pet People who would take care of it for the week and get to hold it anytime they want. They would also take turns at recess. I would pay half the price to buy it. Since sixth grade has rats, we should get something cute, furry, and cuddly. I would make a permission slip for the parents to sign to get their thoughts and ideas about whether it was OK with them. Trust me, we can prove to you that a class pet is a good idea!

I think our class should throw a wild classroom party because we will have lots of fun. We can order Pizza Hut or Domino's pizza. We can also play Pin the Tail on the Donkey. We will only eat at our desks. We can also bring in a hockey table, pool table, more dominoes to play, and 24 things that you hit balls with. I will help pay for these as well as everything else. We will make cards for you and I'll do extra homework. So please can we have a wild classroom party?
