Parent/teacher conferencesStudents prep for VIP visits
Students in Laura Bubb's first-grade class at Christian School of York were asked to write about a season and family memory for parent/teacher conferences.
It's very special when we go swimming in the summer. It's fun to pick flowers in the spring.
We like to play in the snow in the winter. We like to have snowball fights. Dear Mom and Dad,
I had a fun time when we went to Sesame Street. And I had a fun time when dad and I went on the roller coaster. I also liked it when we had Aunt Di came too. It was so much fun! Dear Mom and Dad,
When we went to Rehoboth Beach, Del., it made me think of America's Funniest Videos. I liked the big waves and they made me think of it. I love you. -- Love, Matthew
In the summer we went to California. In the spring we plant flowers.
My family and I, in the winter, we played snowball fights. We throw snowballs at each other. These are my special memories.
A special memory is when we went camping with Grandma and Grandpa. When big Emily came over we had fun.
I like to jump into the leaves with my family in the fall. And I like to go to my cousin's house in the fall. These are my special memories.
A special memory is when me and my mommy play games. When I go camping I play bingo. Hi Mom and Dad,
I like you. Dad, remember when we went to the waterslide? It was fun. Mom, remember when we went snow tubing? It was fun too. -- Love, Ben, P.S. I love you.
A special memory is in the winter when I make a fort with my dad. In the fall we jump in the leaves.
I like to go swimming with my family in the summer. In the winter I like to have a snowball fight.
I am going to tell you a story. One time mom and Jordan had a snowball fight. And then we had hot chocolate. Go Panthers
A Central York School District student in Rachel Evans' second-grade class at Stony Brook Elementary School wrote this story.
Tucker's Team: Tomorrow I am going to the Panther's game. I am going with my cousin and my mom. The cheerleaders are putting signs up. The team has T-shirts that say Tucker's Team. It is going to be a great game! |
